BLOOD OR BARREL KNOT
1. Hold TYER in left hand.  Press red button of hook holder.  Place leader in hook holder.  Extend approximately 8 inches.  Place second leader in slot and extend 8 inches.

2. With thumb, hold leader comming from slot against barrel.  Place leader from hook holder in slot.

3. Place toothpick between the two leaders. 
Twist 8 turns.  Place toothpick in hole.

4. Take leader from left thumb and pass through space formed by toothpick from top.  Take leader from slot and pass through from bottom.  Remove both leaders from TYER and pull both ends tight.

 

DROP LOOP

1. With TYER in left hand, press button of hook holder and place leader, extend approximately 12 inches.  Place leader in slot to form large loop bring back around to barrel and hold firmly.

2. Place leader back in slot.
 Keep both leaders taunt.

3. Place toothpick between leaders and twist 8 turns.  Place toothpick in hole.

4. Take large loop in center
and press into small loop, then pass it through space formed by toothpick between the two leaders.

Remove leaders leaders from slot and hook holder and pull ends tight.

 

END LOOP

1. With TYER in left hand,
place leader in slot, extend 12 inches, double back and place in slot.

2. Press button of hook holder
and insert both leaders.

3. Turn barrel 4 times while holding loop in right hand.

4. Insert loop between hook holder
and first turn.
Remove leader from slot and
hook holder, then pull tight.

5. Remove leader from slot and hook holder and pull snug in both directions.
 

SNELL TIE

1. Place hook point down in hook holder and place leader in slot.

2. Place leader through the eye of hook and back around leader holder.
Press needle forward.

3. Turn knob 5 times wrapping leader around needle and shank of hook.

4. Hold wrap in position with index finger and pass leader through eye of needle.  Remove leader from leader holder and pull needle back.

5. Remove hook by holding shank of hook...
do not pull short leader.
